Channel 7 Rockingham Beach Cup & Community Festival 2023
This November join us at an iconic event that showcases West Australia’s most unique beach racing experience with a massive weekend of entertainment on Rockingham foreshore. The two-day event brings locals and visitors together to connect as a vibrant and active community and to rediscover Rockingham
On Saturday 11th of November there will be a community festival on Churchill Park from 2pm to 7pm with live music, City of Rockingham Breakthrough Music Competition Heat 2, artisan market and food stalls along with free family activities.
Then on Sunday 12th of November we start at 10am with the community festival on Churchill AND Bell Park! There will be family friendly entertainment on and off stage, artisan market stalls, gourmet food vendors, interactive activity zones along with the beach side racing spectacle from midday! The Palm Beach Oasis (licensed area) opens from 12pm with toes in the sand experience at the finish line for ticket holders along with container & cocktail bars, pop-up food stalls and entertainment from a DJ, live band, charity auctions and fashions on the foreshore!
Established in 2016 by the Rotary Club of Palm Beach WA Inc, the now iconic Channel 7 Rockingham Beach Cup combines two of WA’s most beloved pastimes, a day at the races and a day at the beach, surrounded by Rockingham’s natural coastal beauty. Tickets are available from 1st September for the licensed beachside area - the Palm Beach Oasis, which offers an extensive a range of food, beverage and entertainment options.
Supporting the welfare of retired racehorse, The Channel 7 Rockingham Beach Cup is a social race meet for the enjoyment of the community. No betting is available and no whips are used. All funds raised by the Channel 7 Rockingham Beach Cup go to charity, benefitting Variety, Alzheimer’s Research Foundation WA and Palm Beach Rotary community projects.
This event is supported by the City of Rockingham through it's iconic event funding.
